AD MAD COMPETITION: STUDENTS EXHIBIT THEIR HIDDEN TALENTS
Creativity without strategy is called art, creativity with strategy is called Advertising. Advertising is the art of persuasion where there can be a lot of great technicians. In the modern world of business, advertising is a valuable economic factor to sell goods. Presidians of grades 4 and 5 explored the world of advertisements through the Ad-mad Competition. They were divided into groups and they had to advertise for their product with creative storyline and original jingles. Certainly they enjoyed and learned about the basics of the advertising world.
GRAND ENTRY OF SANTA CAPTIVATES HEARTS OF PRESIDIANS ON CHRISTMAS
Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, Presidians celebrated the festival with enthusiasm. The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red and white. The students sang melodious carols and danced beautifully to wish their teachers and classmates. The significance of the festival was explained to the students through the Christmas story. Santa too made a grand entry in the school auditorium packed with the children. The delight was uncontained especially as he brought out the gifts!
PRESIDIANS EXPLORE THE PROPERTIES OF AIR BY DOING EXPERIMENTS
Science is all about exploration and discovery, so there’s no better way to get young scientists excited about learning than with hands-on activities and science experiments. Presidians did fascinating experiments to explore the properties of air. The hands-on activities helped the students to grasp the concept better. Students blasted their learning by quoting extended ideas to keep the fun going.
HUMAN RIGHTS DAY: STUDENTS ENGAGE IN SPREADING POWERFUL IDEAS
Human rights are a set of rights which every human is entitled to. This day is celebrated to improve the physical, social, cultural and spiritual well being and welfare of the vulnerable group of people globally. As there is no age-limit for learning about human rights and it is important that human rights education is embedded in primary schools and early childhood education as well. Keeping the importance of the day, students of grade nursery and prep got the opportunity to engage with the powerful and inspiring ideas on the rights and responsibilities as active and informed citizens. Students highlighted the theme of rights and freedoms — freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.
STUDENTS APPREHEND THE ROLES OF FABRIC IN HUMAN LIFE
Under the theme-Textiles, the students of grade 3 used an unstitched cloth in different creative ways and came up with beautiful ideas. The girls draped it as shrug,jacket,dupatta, scarf etc.and boys used it as turban,dhoti,stole etc. This activity helped children learn about various other uses of an unstitched cloth as towel,bed sheet,duster,mats,curtains etc.This theme also helped children in understanding various roles fabric plays in our life.
SALUTING THE INDIAN NAVY, AN EPITOME OF VALOUR AND COURAGE!
Navy Day in India is celebrated on 4 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. During Operation Trident in 1971, the Indian Navy sank four Pakistani vessels including PNS Khaibar, killing hundreds of Pakistani Navy personnel, to commemorate that 4 December is celebrated as Indian Navy Day every year. Indian Navy day remembers the efforts of our brave soldiers and celebrates their triumph. Grade 6 of Presidium School Pitampura branch celebrated NAVY DAY by remembering and lauding the efforts of INDIAN NAVAL OFFICERS AND SAILORS in safeguarding the country from maritime terrors.
SPORTS DAY: AN EPITOME OF STUDENTS’ ENERGY AND SPORTSMANSHIP
With team spirit and sportsmanship, Presidium organized a mesmerizing Sports Day. Honorable Sudha Gupta Ma'am and Devender Gupta Sir graced the occasion to boost up young athletes. The program was an amalgamation of various cultural and sports activities. All Presidium branches worked in a team and performed impeccably. The students participated in various races and the joy of victory made the winners glow with enthusiasm. Prize distribution ceremony by our Chairperson, Sudha ma'am brought the event to a conclusion.
STUDENTS CELEBRATE NATIONAL CONSTITUTION DAY
Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950. Presidium marked the celebration with the reading of the preamble of the constitution and awareness about its salient features. The students also organized a rally with placards about the importance of the day.
SCHOOL CONDUCTS COLLAGE MAKING ACTIVITY ON WATER SCARCITY ISSUE
A Collage Making Activity was conducted under the topic, ‘Water,’ to make students aware of water scarcity and how much of the earth’s water is available for daily human use through this activity. They also learned the importance of water to humans and brainstormed ways to reduce their water usage. They drew and pasted pictures on water wastage and wrote about the measures to be taken to avoid it. They also brainstormed ways in which they can conserve water in their own homes, and thought of ways to share what they learned with their family.
TALENT HUNT COMPETITION IDENTIFIES HIDDEN TALENTS IN STUDENTS

It is truly believed that every person is born with a talent. Presidium organized an Intra Class Talent Hunt Competition to nurture talents in its students. The students showcased their dancing, theatrical and oratory skills very confidently on stage. This competition certainly proved to be a good platform for them to identify their hidden talents.
