"The way you can conquer me is through Love and there I am gladly conquered”.
In order to reflect on the above given lesson of Bhagavad Gita, Presidium Pitampura celebrated the birthday of Lord Krishna with full fervour and devotion. Some boys were dressed as ‘Krishna’ and some girls were dressed as ‘Radha’. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more cheerful and colorful. They performed acts on 'Krishna Janam', 'Kaliya Vadh', 'Rasleela' and 'Geeta Updesh' by Lord Krishna, illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of violence ‘He’ will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good. It was nonetheless brought to life by the scintillating dance performances that represented his ‘Leelas’ and depicted the importance of the occasion. This was followed by a group songs on the childhood of Shri Krishna. A ‘Matki Phod’ event was also organised to mark the mischievous nature of ‘Bal Gopal’. The celebration ended by offering homage to Lord Krishna through Shri Krishna aarti.
