Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organizing our curiosity. As it is rightly said, science activities ignite a student's inner scientist. Students of Presidium under the theme 'Getting to know the Plants' of Grade-6 conducted various activities in Science to identify plants' varied characteristics. These activities helped students understand the differences between plants of different kinds. They observed the stem of the various plants, looked at the place from where branches appeared and classified them. This activity helped them conclude that branches appear at the ground in some plants while some plant branches are at some height. They learned about leaf venation as they delved through the various stages of the plant life cycle, starting from seed and ultimately to death.
