With the ongoing theme - “Insects'' under the subject TBL our Presidians of Grade 2 demonstrated their learning and understanding of the theme through various activities being conducted in the class, such as ladybird and clapper-making activity information about the insects, and creating picture collages, etc. Students were introduced to English and Hindi names of insects, food eaten by them, and where they live. Features of different insects were also introduced to them. Students learned about a variety of insects, including both harmful and harmless insects. Students were taught to design their own ladybird using origami sheets and also shared the information they collected about it with their classmates. These activities not only help in imparting knowledge to the young minds regarding different types of insects but also bring the young Presidians closer to nature.
