"The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics."
Fractions are student’s first introduction to abstraction in mathematics. A list of engaging and fun activities were planned for Grade-5 students to give plenty of practice and strengthen their Mathematical skills. They applied their learning in different life situations and gave examples of fractions, like equal slices of pizza, fruit, a bar of chocolate, etc. These activities helped students learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions. They created models, used pizzas, paper, etc., for understanding the concepts. These activities gave the students hands-on experience, and they learned the concept in a fun, loving manner.
