International Girl Child Day is observed every year on 11th October for Girl Child. This celebration was started to give more support and new opportunities for girls in the world. The International Day of the Girl Child focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights. Presidian grade 3 celebrated International Girl Child Day by performing beautiful dances on various songs, which in return helped them to understand the importance of equality among each other and the importance of life with education. It also inculcated the feeling of belongingness for each other. Students were dressed as India's daughters who brought glory to our nation in various fields like Kalpana Chawla, Indra Gandhi, Lata Mangeshkar, Sania Mirza, Indra Nooyi, and Sushma Swaraj and stated their accomplishments. This made the students proud of their nation and especially the girls felt motivated, they were able to know their true potential and the importance of education in each one's life.
