Education at Presidium has never been confined to the four walls of a classroom, our online classes are the perfect example. With this thought Presidians celebrated MathematicsDay to enhance their Mathematics skills. Different activities were organized for different grades, for example- Patterns for G-2, Decimals for G-6, and so on. Students learned to represent numbers like hundred, tens, and ones with the help of ice-cream sticks, paper strips, drawing on board, and match sticks. To understand the magnitude of numbers and the concept of hundreds, tens, and ones in terms of quantification and representation students were involved in various activities. Overall it was an experience that gave a profound understanding that will build a strong foundation to set up to the next level of conceptual understanding of mathematics. The students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and had a great time during this day.
