Dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, Basant Panchami marks the beginning of the Spring season in India and is also celebrated to worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Our little Presidians celebrated the day with great fervor and enthusiasm. 'Yellow color' – representative of spiritual knowledge, is given importance on Basant Panchami. Presidians came dressed up in yellow color attire, offered yellow-colored flowers to the Goddess, and also enjoyed yellow-colored food during an online class. They all assembled to pray and attain blessings from Goddess Saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge. The assembly started with a beautiful Saraswati Vandana, followed by a dance performance on a Basant song. Students also enjoyed an activity during which they made beautiful posters.
